Digital Developer
The digital developer role has a focus on WordPress development with the creation of sites from design files. Custom theme development with ability to develop plugins, and adjust code on existing developed sites. In addition, create digital communication tools for email marketing and support with digital reporting metrics and outcomes.
The digital developer works alongside the Fig Tree team to collaborate on digital client projects providing technical support with clients across hosting, domains.

Responsibilities
- Take a website design from a designer and develop it into a pixel perfect website
- Coding development within WordPress CMS
- Custom theme development
- Plugin development (Bonus)
- Building new websites and editing code of existing websites
- Test, debugging and resolving code errors
- Technical support through website cPanel and Hosting Server
- Build email marketing templates
- Website technical maintenance
- Web hosting and domain management
Qualifications
- Qualification in computer science, computer programming or related education.
- 4+ years experience in website development
Required skills, experience and attributes
- Experienced in Bootstrap/jQuery/JavaScript/HTML/SASS/CSS, highly proficient in WordPress, ability to develop from designs with pixel perfection
- Experienced in take a website design from a PSD or from UI Tool to Custom WordPress Theme
- Experience in WooCommerce and ACF
- Have an understanding of on-page SEO and optimising website
- Have an eye for detail
- Have 4+ years of experience working hands-on in a web development role
- A team player with a positive attitude to work within team and deliver quality work within allocated timeframes
- Meet the key metrics established for each digital project in an efficient manner
- The ability to manage multiple digital projects at one time
- Connect and engage in effective communication with team members
